The A82 through Glencoe, Scottish Highlands

Why I started driving people around my own backyard

I know these roads because I live here — years spent driving across the Highlands, from Inverness out to the quiet single-track roads most visitors never see.

My Story

Hi, I'm Dmytro.

The Scottish Highlands aren't just somewhere I take visitors. This is my home. I've spent years driving across the region, from the busy roads around Inverness to remote glens, coastal villages and quiet single-track roads far from the usual tourist routes.

I started Highland Travel because I wanted to offer something more personal than a standard coach tour. When you travel with me, there's no crowded bus, rushed schedule or rehearsed script. It's a private journey shaped around you, with time to enjoy the scenery, stop for photographs and discover places you might otherwise miss.

My experience working with routes and transport throughout the Highlands means I understand the distances, the roads and how quickly the weather can change. I plan every journey carefully, but I also keep it flexible. If you want an extra photo stop, a coffee with a view or a little more time somewhere you love, we can adjust the day.

Whether I'm taking you on a Highland tour or meeting you for an airport transfer, you'll always deal directly with me. My goal is simple: to make you feel comfortable, looked after and genuinely welcome in the Highlands.
